Talk Tech Association, the 501(c)(3) Affiliate of Black Women Talk, is focused on identifying, providing support, and encouraging black women to build the next billion-dollar business.

We are a collective of black women tech founders who have a unique understanding of the challenges we face in the industry, but also of the advantages we can bring.

Chapters Located in NYC, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle and growing….

The vision began with 3 Co-Founders (2016), who created an annual conference, “The Roadmap to Billions” to provide an empowering experience for black women tech entrepreneurs to learn about business growth strategies and connect with investors and other tech founders.

Meet the Executive Director

Jennifer Parker

Executive Director

Jennifer J. Parker is the owner of Jackson Parker Communications, an innovative PR and Marketing firm.

Ms. Parker has been successful in creating campaigns and events that have become brand builders. The firm introduced newsworthy and memorable program brands such as Think Big with 43North (encouraging minority and women entrepreneurship), “The Pitch Buffalo” (a business plan competition for minority and women owned business owners in the Buffalo NY area), and Success Looks Like Me (program designed to provide urban youth of color access to successful professionals of color).

Jennifer is the founder of the Black Capital Network LLC., a small business consulting company that provided services to support minority business development. Embracing education and lifelong learning, she is a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo Law School and Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Energized by making things happen and the love of community, Jennifer has received several professional and community awards. She made history as the first female and African American Chairperson of the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau and she currently serves on the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County and the WNY Women’s Foundation Boards.

Jennifer is a member of the WNY Regional Economic Council and currently serves as a board member for the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County and the WNY Women’s Foundation Board. As a power networker, she understands the importance of networking, building relationships and working to make a difference.
