Jonathan Sagot represents emerging growth companies and investors in complex corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and financings. He advises early and late stage companies through their growth lifecycle, from their formation to series financings to exit. In his varied background, Jonathan has represented companies and acted as general outside counsel for clients in the technology, advertising, communications, media, e-commerce, food and beverage, fashion and beauty industries. Jonathan’s practice also extends to cross-border transactions, where he has counseled clients through their acquisitions, divestitures and investments.

In his general corporate practice, Jonathan has represented clients in employment matters relating to employment agreements, incentive compensation arrangements, restrictive covenant agreements and separation agreements. He has advised clients with respect to internal reorganizations and intercompany debt transactions, as well as commercial matters including customer agreements, vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements and engagement letters.

Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Jonathan was a partner in the corporate group of a leading law firm.
