Darlene Gillard Jones is part of the Founding team and Director, Community for digitalundivided, a social enterprise that fosters economic growth through the empowerment of Black and Latinx women entrepreneurs using innovation as a tool where she oversees all Community Partnerships and events. The cornerstone of digitalundivided’s work is the BIG Incubator program (BIG) for tech enabled startups led by Black and Latinx women that provides a structured curriculum focused on developing sustainable businesses and direct access to funding.

Darlene has spent the past 20 years as the idea-to-execution force behind some of the most well-known brands and publications in business, media, and technology.

Prior to digitalundivided, Darlene held senior leadership positions at several national media outlets for women including W, Essence, and Elle Magazines and spearheaded projects for Time Inc, eBay, Disney, and the International Downtown Association. Darlene is often tapped for public speaking engagements including Georgia Tech, Grace Hopper, and SXSW.
